Ajman Bank named Best Domestic Bank at Islamic Business & Finance 2010 Awards

Ajman Bank, the first Islamic bank established in the Emirate of Ajman, announced today that it has been named Best Domestic Bank at the Islamic Business & Finance 2010 Awards. Ajman Bank collected the award at a ceremony in Dubai attended by over 300 distinguished guests from the regional and global banking industry.

 

 
The annual awards, now in their fifth year, honour the outstanding performance of leading Islamic financial institutions and individuals.  Winners were chosen based on factors such as growth in assets and profitability, strategic relationships, quality of custom service, product pricing and innovation.
 
Since its foundation in 2008, the bank has gained a reputation for its strong financial performance and commitment to outstanding customer service.

A total of 30 accolades were presented at the Islamic Business & Finance Awards 2010.  Shortlists for the various Sharia-compliant banks and financial institutions were compiled by an international panel of judges comprised of leading experts and consultants in the industry.
