Ajman Bank develops job opportunity program for UAE nationals
Ajman Bank, the emirate's first Islamic commercial bank, has partnered with The Human Resources Development Directorate to launch training programs, for candidates who wish to apply for positions at the bank. This programme will effectively contribute to the development of the candidates capabilities.
 
This agreement supports the objectives of the Human Resource Development Department, which seeks to provide necessary support for settlement strategies and the provision of qualified UAE nationals to meet the needs of the market. At the same time it will be consistent with the government's strategies for providing more jobs and a better future. This contribution has been instigated to support the banking sector and increase the proportion of job opportunities for qualified UAE nationals and provide them with the opportunity to demonstrate their skills
 
In order to develop the skills and abilities of candidates applying for positions at Ajman Bank it has been agreed that The Human Resources Development Department will provide a six month development program. At the end of the course, Ajman Bank will appoint candidates who successfully passed the program, and in addition will bear the cost, provided the candidates choose to take the position available.
 
His Excellency, Director of The Human Resources Development Department, Hanan Jarwan explains, "We are delighted to announce our new partnership with one of the leading banks in the UAE- Ajman Bank. We believe that by combining two teams of specialists all endeavouring to achieve the same goal, a greater number of employment opportunities will be provided for UAE nationals. "
 
Professor Maryiam Al Ali working for the Human Resources Department will organise an open day inviting the researchers from Ajman Bank to view the qualifications and skills of candidates and assess their compatibility in the view to match them with the jobs available. It will also enable the candidates to identify the jobs that are both available and up and coming.
 
Acting Chief Executive to the Ajman Bank, Ali Isa Al Alhakoc commented "This initiative comes from Ajman Bank's strategy to attract more people into the banking sector and increase the proportion which contributes to supporting the economic development of the UAE society. Ajman Bank is keen to attract national bodies that are capable of effectively supporting the Bank and enhancing our services and banking products that comply with the Islamic law. Our bank specialists will select candidates from the list collated by the Human Resource Development Department, and assess their academic qualifications and practical experience. "
